Julia O’Connell

Julia supports the philanthropy team in building AJP’s visibility, impact, and financial resources.

Previously, she served as the Senior Development Associate at Alliance for Justice, a national service organization that advocates for a fair and independent justice system. She began at AFJ as a development intern before being elevated to senior associate. In this role, Julia managed a foundation portfolio and worked to solicit, cultivate, and steward grants. 

Julia lives in Washington, D.C. with her partner and dog. In her free time, she loves doing yoga, reading fiction, and going to the movie theater.
