This April in Fort Worth, Texas, we’ll gather our network of newsroom leaders, partners, supporters, and staff to celebrate the momentum and innovation emerging from our portfolio.

We will update this page with more information and helpful tips as AJPalooza gets closer!

What we’ll do

We’ll share a detailed agenda closer to the event, but here’s a quick look to help with travel planning:

  • We will kick off on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 21, with an opening session, followed by a casual dinner and drinks.
  • We will conclude on the evening of Wednesday, April 22, after a dinner celebrating the local impact of the Fort Worth Report. Organizations in AJP’s portfolio will participate in programming through the afternoon of Thursday, April 23.

The majority of programming will take place at The Crescent Hotel, where we have secured a discounted room block. Attire for AJPalooza events is generally business casual, but some of our off-site visits will be easier with shoes that are suited for dirt floors (like cowboy boots!).

 

 

Accommodations

We’ll stay at The Crescent Hotel in Fort Worth’s cultural district. Rooms may be reserved on an individual basis; use this link to receive AJP’s room block discount.

Why Fort Worth?

Each year for AJPalooza, we visit a different city where members of our portfolio work: in 2022, we visited Chicago; in 2023, we were in Cleveland; in 2024, we went to Minneapolis; in 2025, we explored New Orleans; and in 2026, we’ll be in to Fort Worth.

Fort Worth is a vibrant city with distinct character, where you’ll find the historic Stockyards, world-renowned museums and a rapidly growing metro area. It’s also home to the Fort Worth Report, a local newsroom that’s helping shape how Fort Worth residents stay informed, engaged, and connected. We’re excited to bring our guests to this area for an immersive, memorable experience.
